so not only is everyone wearing leggings with everything, but apparently the hot new trend is to move to nyc. there are way too many devastatingly beautiful girls out here and not nearly enough men to balance them out -- plz have some consideration before relocating here, k? THX BYE.

nat and i won $110 in atlantic city -- woohoo! and we ate a lot of bad food, but so good. mmm biscuits and sausage gravy and lobster mac n cheese (though not in that order)! i'm officially blown away by whole foods (though nat says the new supermarket in red hook is waaay better -- can't wait to go!) and everyone in this city (NY not philly or AC) annoys me. please adopt either a new yawk or 'neutral' accent and rid yourself of your hideous regional new england and midwestern accents, thanks.

when i think how lucky i am to have met someone as wonderful as TW. who knows where the next two years and some 7.5 hour transatlantic flights will take us, but somehow i just know that we'll always be connected.

'cos she's an intelligent american. but goddamn i miss UK news. thank god for news.bbc.co.uk. i've not got much to say except that i arrived wednesday evening and i've not left my house since. i think i'm scared to experience america again...or something. maybe i'm just lazy, or have too much unpacking & rearranging, or am in denial that this is my home. at least i've got all my shoes, bags, and belts in one place. and outfits! so far i've counted 35 pairs of shoes, but that's not including the ones i still have in tom's boat in london and in a bag that needs to be sent to be repaired.

being back in america is very very strange, and i'm not quite sure how i feel about it yet. i am certain, however, that i love having my fam and BFF around 24/7, oh yea and luxury shoe shopping and all of my attire in one place of residence.

i really wish that i could move tom and his beautiful gaff cutter to ny. oh yea and all the awesome charity shops and londontown's awesome bus network.
